This comprehensive documentation of Deine Lakaien's most successful concert tour to date presents a high-quality selection of the best songs from the entire tour on two CDs, as well as a 70-minute DVD recording of the concert at Hamburg's Laeiszhalle. The lavishly produced digipak will be released about a month after the single "Over And Done." Two years ago, to mark their 30th anniversary as a band, Deine Lakaien released the CD retrospective "XXX: The 30 Years Retrospective." It contained four recordings featuring hits from ten studio albums, rare tracks, new versions, and previously unreleased live recordings. With this material, the founding duo of Ernst Horn and Alexander Veljanov toured hand-picked concert halls throughout Germany. The concerts, held at venues with exceptional atmospheres and brilliant sound, such as the Cologne Philharmonic Hall, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Herkulessaal in Munich, and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, were largely sold out and received rave reviews. The lineup for the concerts also testifies to the band's truly historic approach to live performances: In addition to Horn and Veljanov, high-profile guests and beloved companions of the avant-garde duo were on stage. Fans enjoyed an extremely emotional and diverse program featuring Slobodan Kajkut (drums), Goran Trajkoski (guitar), Katharina Garrard (violin), Sabine Lutzenberger (vocals), and former Inchtabokatables cellist B.Deutung, as well as very intimate moments with Veljanov's extraordinary voice and Horn's musical atmospheres, which draw on the virtuosity of an electronic musician as well as his experience in classical music. Regardless of media attention, Deine Lakaien, in addition to their merits as musical frontiersmen, embody a continuity from their early days in 1985 to the present that radically distinguishes them from other bands.
