Royal Republic don't believe in "guilty pleasures" – only in "pleasures." The band, which has become Sweden's hottest rock 'n' roll export, is now releasing a reissue of their fourth album, Club Majesty, as a special neon-pink vinyl version to mark the album's four-year anniversary.
Many have tried to pigeonhole the band into a genre. Garage rock, pop rock, kung fu rock, and even Chuck Norris rock are all terms coined for Royal Republic's energetic, driving rock 'n' roll. With their fourth album, "Club Majesty," "disco rock" is added. "I love the word 'disco,'" says singer Adam Grahn. "But some people will say, 'But you're a rock band!' We are a band. I never knew what to call ourselves."
