Description
After the release of the two EPs »The Path« and »The Divide« as well as numerous concerts in Europe (HRH Prog Festival in Wales, Summer Breeze Festival in Germany and a support tour for Amorphis in Finland, to name just a few), the quartet now deals more intensively with socio-critical themes on its new album.
Songs like "Wheel," which is inspired by George Orwell's novel "1984" and examines society under increasingly intrusive surveillance, and the song "Tyrant," which describes the idea of a future where self-determination is extremely regulated, provide a framework for the album's overarching theme.
Both musically and thematically, "Moving Backwards" leaves a captivating and thought-provoking impression. It's a sweeping and powerful collage of progressive rock, grunge, and film scores that twists and turns like few bands have.
